Gizlilik Politikası
Bu politika, Dear Name uygulamasının (iOS ve Android) kişisel verilerinizi nasıl işlediğini 6698 sayılı KVKK ve Avrupa Birliği Genel Veri Koruma Tüzüğü (GDPR) kapsamında açıklar.

2. İşlediğimiz veriler
- Hesap verileri: e-posta adresi, görünen ad (isteğe bağlı), Google veya Apple ile girişte bu hizmetlerin paylaştığı profil bilgileri (isteğe bağlı profil resmi dahil). Şifre ile kayıtta şifreniz yalnızca geri döndürülemez biçimde (hash) saklanır.
- Kullanıcı içeriği: arattığınız isimler, kısa listenize kaydettiğiniz isimler ve notlarınız.
- İsim üretici girdileri: üreticiye yazdığınız ata isimleri. Bunlar aile geçmişinize dair kişisel verilerdir. Yalnızca isteğiniz sırasında işlenir; sizin kaydettiğiniz isimler dışında bizde saklanmaz.
- Cihazdaki veriler: oturum anahtarı (token) ve dil tercihi cihazınızda tutulur.
Reklam, izleme, analiz (analytics) aracı kullanmıyoruz. Konum, rehber, fotoğraf arşivi gibi cihaz verilerine erişmiyoruz.

4. Verilerin aktarıldığı taraflar (işleyenler)
- Anthropic: yapay zekâ analizi için yazdığınız isimler (üreticide ata isimleri dahil) Anthropic'in API hizmetine gönderilir. Biz ata isimlerini, isteğin işlenmesi dışında saklamayız.
- Bulut veritabanı sağlayıcısı: hesap ve kısa liste verileri bir bulut veritabanı sağlayıcısında tutulur.
- Apple ve Google: yalnızca "Apple ile giriş" veya "Google ile giriş" seçtiğinizde, kimlik doğrulama için.
Verilerinizi satmıyoruz ve reklam amacıyla paylaşmıyoruz.
5. Saklama süresi
Hesap ve kısa liste verileri, hesabınızı silene kadar saklanır. Hesabı sildiğinizde bu veriler silinir (ayrıntı: hesap silme sayfası). Aynı isim için üretilmiş genel analiz sonuçları kişisel veri içermez ve önbellekte kalabilir.
6. Haklarınız
KVKK md. 11: verinizin işlenip işlenmediğini öğrenme; bilgi talep etme; amacına uygun kullanılıp kullanılmadığını öğrenme; aktarılan üçüncü kişileri öğrenme; eksik/yanlış işlenmişse düzeltilmesini isteme; silinmesini veya yok edilmesini isteme; bu işlemlerin üçüncü kişilere bildirilmesini isteme; otomatik sistemlerle analiz sonucu aleyhinize bir sonuca itiraz etme; zarara uğrarsanız tazminat talep etme.
GDPR md. 15–22: erişim (15), düzeltme (16), silme (17), işlemeyi kısıtlama (18), bildirim yükümlülüğü (19), taşınabilirlik (20), itiraz (21) ve yalnızca otomatik işlemeye dayalı kararlara tabi olmama (22) hakları. Bizim hizmetimiz sizin hakkınızda hukuki sonuç doğuran otomatik karar vermez.
Başvuru için hello@dearname.app adresine yazın; en geç 30 gün içinde yanıt veririz. Şikâyet hakkınız saklıdır: Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurulu (Türkiye) veya yaşadığınız ülkedeki AB denetim otoritesi.
7. Hesap silme
Uygulamada: Liste sekmesi → profil alanı → "Hesabı sil". Uygulamaya erişemiyorsanız e-posta ile de talep edebilirsiniz. Ayrıntılar: hesap silme sayfası.
8. Çocuklar
Dear Name 18 yaş altına yönelik değildir; bilerek 18 yaşından küçüklerin verisini toplamayız. Böyle bir veri fark edersek sileriz.
9. Yurt dışına aktarım
Anthropic ve veritabanı sağlayıcısı Türkiye dışında (ör. ABD veya AB) veri işleyebilir. Aktarımlar KVKK md. 9 ve GDPR Bölüm V kapsamındaki uygun güvencelere (ör. standart sözleşme maddeleri) dayanır.
10. Değişiklikler
Bu politikayı güncellersek tarihi bu sayfada değiştiririz.
Privacy Policy
This policy explains how the Dear Name app (iOS and Android) processes your personal data under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK, Law No. 6698) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Data we process
- Account data: email address, display name (optional), and the profile details Google or Apple share when you use them to sign in (including an optional profile picture). If you register with a password, only an irreversible hash of it is stored.
- User content: the names you search for, and the names and notes you save to your shortlist.
- Generator input: the ancestor names you type into the generator. These are personal data about your family history. They are processed only while your request runs and are not stored by us, except for names you choose to save.
- On your device: a sign-in token and your language setting.
We use no ads, no tracking and no analytics tools. We do not access your location, contacts or photo library.

4. Who receives data (processors)
- Anthropic: the names you type (including ancestor names in the generator) are sent to Anthropic's API for AI processing. We do not keep ancestor names beyond processing the request.
- Cloud database provider: account and shortlist data are stored with a cloud database provider.
- Apple and Google: only if you choose "Sign in with Apple" or "Sign in with Google", for authentication.
We do not sell your data and do not share it for advertising.
5. Retention
Account and shortlist data are kept until you delete your account. When you delete it, this data is deleted (details: account deletion page). General analysis results for a name contain no personal data and may remain cached.
6. Your rights
KVKK Art. 11: to learn whether your data is processed; to request information; to learn the purpose and whether it is used accordingly; to know the third parties it is transferred to; to request correction; to request deletion or destruction; to request that these actions be notified to third parties; to object to a result against you produced solely by automated analysis; and to claim compensation for damage.
GDPR Arts. 15–22: access (15), rectification (16), erasure (17), restriction (18), notification (19), portability (20), objection (21), and not to be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing (22). Our service does not make automated decisions with legal effect on you.
Write to hello@dearname.app; we answer within 30 days. You may also complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Board or to the supervisory authority in your EU country.
7. Account deletion
In the app: Shortlist tab → profile area → "Delete account". If you cannot access the app, request deletion by email. Details: account deletion page.
8. Children
Dear Name is not directed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If we find such data, we delete it.
9. International transfers
Anthropic and the database provider may process data outside Türkiye (for example in the US or the EU). Transfers rely on appropriate safeguards under KVKK Art. 9 and GDPR Chapter V (for example standard contractual clauses).
10. Changes
If we update this policy, we change the date on this page.
